Sometimes getting to an urgent care clinic just isn't possible. Maybe you're managing a packed schedule, or you simply don't want to bring an unwell child out in public unnecessarily. Whatever the reason, there are plenty of situations where a virtual visit makes more sense than an in-person one, and at Xpress Pediatrics, we make that option available to our patients.
Our telehealth urgent care services connect your child with our pediatric team through a secure virtual visit, so they can get evaluated and cared for without leaving home. We offer both patient visits and follow-up appointments via telehealth, giving families a convenient way to access the same expert pediatric care they'd receive in our clinic. Whether your child needs an urgent evaluation or a follow-up after a recent visit, you can count on knowledgeable, attentive care on the other side of the screen.
Telehealth visits are available 7 days a week. Request a virtual appointment online to get started.

Our telehealth urgent care visits are designed for situations where a physical exam isn't required to evaluate and treat your child's concern. Common reasons families choose a virtual visit include:
If your child's symptoms suggest they need an in-person evaluation, on-site testing, or hands-on treatment, our team will let you know during the virtual visit and help direct you to the right next step.
Telehealth is a convenient option for many situations, but some concerns genuinely require an in-person visit. Please come in to one of our locations rather than scheduling a virtual visit if your child is:
If you're ever unsure which type of visit is right for your child, you're always welcome to call ahead and our team can help you decide.
Getting set up for a telehealth visit with Xpress Pediatrics is straightforward. You'll schedule your appointment online, and at the time of your visit, you'll connect with one of our providers through a secure video platform. Your provider will ask about your child's symptoms, review their health history, and conduct a visual assessment. If a prescription is needed, we can send it electronically to your preferred pharmacy. After the visit, you'll receive documentation of the visit and any follow-up instructions.
If your child was recently seen in one of our clinics and needs a follow-up, a virtual visit is often a convenient way to handle that check-in without another in-person trip. Our team can review how your child has been responding to treatment, answer any questions that have come up since the initial visit, and adjust the care plan if needed, all from wherever your family happens to be.
Telehealth offers families a faster, more flexible way to access pediatric care when an in-person visit isn't convenient or necessary. You skip the commute and the waiting room, your child can be evaluated in a familiar environment, and you can often get seen more quickly than you would for an in-person appointment. For follow-up visits and mild illness evaluations, a virtual pediatric appointment is often just as effective as coming in, with far less disruption to your day.
Yes. If your child's evaluation indicates that a prescription is needed, our team can send it electronically to your preferred pharmacy during or after the virtual visit. This applies to many common pediatric medications. Our providers will use their clinical judgment to determine whether a prescription is appropriate based on your child's symptoms and history, just as they would during an in-person visit.
No. Our telehealth services are open to new and existing patients alike. If this is your first time visiting Xpress Pediatrics, we'll gather some basic information about your child at the start of the visit so our provider has the context they need to care for them well. New patients are always welcome, whether you're coming in person or connecting with us virtually.
Scheduling is simple; just request a virtual appointment online! We offer virtual visits 7 days a week, so there's almost always a time that works for your family.
